You should instead be using the Negativo17 repository (recommended) or the RPMFusion repository (an alternative). Fedora does right in many of those things. It's pretty much exactly the same. While nouveau driver is loaded, it should disable discrete gpu. It comes really useful for my default distro, Fedora, but not so cool for my custom Nvidia® driver install, FedoraPrime is Fedora only with a default driver config. I'm in real awe now.
